We are doing great here in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We have been busy getting to know the people and area in our new field, continuing a large Agricultural Project in Durango, and developing church-planting strategies in the cities and towns of the state of Guanajuato. Mark took a group of Mexican Brothers to a missions conference in Guatemala and also attended another missions conference in Houston. We are implementing the ideas learned into our work.
We are very excited that our daughter Jennifer and husband Aaron, students at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, are expecting our first Grandchild around July 1. We will take about 3 weeks of vacation and be in the Baton Rouge / New Orleans area for the event. Our son Andrew will graduate from Blue Mountain College in Mississippi in December. He also plans on attending New Orleans Seminary in January and pursue a missions degree. Our daughter Laura is graduating from Homeschool High School on June 12 (she is graduating with High Honors #1 in her class). Jared, Jesse, and Michael are doing very well and are happy to have big brother Andrew home for the summer. Three year old Emily Grace, adopted from Kazakhstan, continues to be a wonderful blessing from God. She is growing and learning and is extremely articulate.
We appreciate and covet your prayers for our missionary Work and family.
